About Lo Canetà
Without stones, there is no way
Lo Canetà is the reality of a present, the work of two farmers – David and Juanjo – who want to become the oxygen of a land; of a town and of a way of life that is dying, the rural one. For this reason, we produce and will produce organic extra virgin olive oil in a unique environment, the one offered by Canet lo Roig.
We are, together with our children, heirs and responsible for a unique legacy of more than 100 hectares of traditional unirrigated olive groves, millenary, silent and at the same time full of paths. We bring the pleasure and flavour of our Mediterranean sea to the table, after a good day’s work in the fields.
Excellent oil both for cooking and for eating raw! This first option is the one I like the most, as it leaves a pleasant taste, exquisite on the palate!
We have tried the Farga and Canetera varieties and in both cases we have found them to be two EXCEPTIONAL oils. By vote, in my house we prefer, without detracting from the other, the Canetera. They are great in salads and a delicacy with bread spread with tomato. We were so satisfied that we sent it as a gift to London, where they also appreciated its flavour.
The flavour of Lo Canetà products is unique. It is a luxury to be able to cook with such high quality oil from our area.
